HyVi – The Green Voice of the Student Union

Helsinki University Greens (HyVi) is an active, party politically independent organization. We are active at the Student Union of the University of Helsinki (HYY), at the university itself and in other places. We work for a more sustainable, fair, open, equal and accessible world. We want to make a change in our society. We aim to bring new, positive and fresh views to the social debate – we actively try to make the world a better place.

HyVi meets every other week on Tuesdays in Kupoli, in the New Student Building (address: Mannerheimintie 5 B, 7^th floor). In our meetings we have conversations and make plans, among other things. We also organize different kinds of events, which anyone who’s interested is very welcome to take part in. Our politics reflects us.

We don’t only operate in the academic world but also in the politics of the whole country, continent and the world. If you want to be involved in green politics without the restrictions of the party agendas, HyVi is a great choice. Welcome!
